Child Allowance Throngs In Edirne 11/04/2011

The child allowance given to poor families by Edirne Social Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation via Post Office Department thronged in front of building of Post Office Department In Saraçlar Street of Edirne. Security officials of the building took in people group by group to control the crowd.

Social Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation supports financially poor families to reimburse their children's needs. The foundation gives 40 or 50 lira (33 $) poor families for each children every other month. People waiting for child allowance in Edirne were crowded in front of building of Post Office Department in Saraçlar Street of Edirne. Some families complained that they are not able to receive the support regularly. Administrators of Social Cooperation and Solidarity Foundation said that support of some families who don't send their children to school regularly could be given up.
