Didim Roma Established A Dans Studio 05/01/2011
Rumelian Roma Cooperation and Solidarity Association of Didim open a course to teach local Roma dance. The course arouses interest in the Didim district of Aydin city of Turkey. There is also a Roma Dance Group prepared by the association.
The course which started at December 13, 2010 is being teached in The Municipality Wedding-Ceremony Hall. The course is active on Monday and Wednesday between 19.00-21.00. The association doesn't demand any price for teaching course from participants between 13-17 ages. Administration of the association emphasize that people who want to join the activity could come to the Municipality Wedding-Ceremony Hall on the time or come to the association and register themselves for the course.
The Roma Dance Group have played an essential role in the district to publicize Roma culture and Roma dance. It's also believed that the course will support this improvement. Authorities sharing their view about the issue explained that the course and the dance group have contributed tourism in the district.
