Roman's Photography Exhibition In Izmir 13/10/2009

State Photography and Statue Museum of İzmir has started to its new artistry period with famous artworker Aydın Çetinbostanoğlu’s photography exhibition called ‘Romans and the Wedding’.

Photography exhibition has been presented in the 150st year celebration of the Faculty of Political Sciences in İzmir branch office. Lots of people such as Sait Topoğlu, Ardahan Totuk the vice governors of İzmir; Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Erkan, the chairman of the Faculty of Political Sciences of İzmir branch office and Özcan Çayırlı, the chairman of the Aegean Roman Organization Federation have been attended this exhibition.

The special sixty photographes have been presented for the regard of artlovers in the exhibition. These photographes are reflecting the lifestyle of Romans from different places such as İzmir, İstanbul, Edirne, Diyarbakır, Nusaybin, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli and Aydın.

At the begining of exhibition, Çetinbostanoğlu has explained why he organised this exibition: ‘Because lots of people have bias about Romans. That is why i have spent 8 years to take 60 photographes. Everyone can imagine something about Romans as an imagine, but these photographes are the real image of the Romans. Maybe people can interrogate their wrong thoughts about Romans, this is the only aim of this exhibition.’
