Fire In Sarıgöl 05/10/2011
Roof of a house was completely burned in a fire broken out in Cami street of Sarıgöl neighbourhood of Gaziosmanpaşa district. A woman named N. O. who has asthma living alone in the house lighted electric stove when it got cold. The fire broken out because of electric contact existed at the moment caused furnitures of the woman to be damaged seriously.
N. O whose house's roof burned completely in the fire broken out because of electric contact tries to survive with 150 tl (80$) she gets from public foundations once every three months. She has real economic probles. On the top of it, being damaged of her furnitures and her house in the fire left her in a difficult situation. She has no possibility to repair her house by herself. Living in a house without a proof will be life-threatening in winter because she has asthma. Common expectation of residents of Sarıgöl who witness the incident is that authorities and benefactors will help the woman.
