Karagöz and Gypsies 10/11/2011
Most of the masters who performed famous shadow play Karagöz-Hacıvat were Gypsies. They put some words from various Gypsy languages into the texts of most known plays as if they want to leave trace to show that they were Gypsies. Karagöz says Hacıvat that he is Gypsy and speaks with a Gypsy language in a play named "Hamam".
